Our Events

CounsellingKind believes in the value of, and champions, the regular practice of self care, which can be defined as follows:

“Self care is any activity that we do deliberately in order to take care of our mental, emotional, and physical health. It is not something that we force ourselves to do, or something we don’t enjoy doing. It is something that refuels us, rather than takes from us” – Psych Central.

Here at CounsellingKind, we hope to make it easier for people to engage in self care activities. We do this by raising awareness of what self care is, and offering a unique programme of Self care Events including:


Wellbeing Workshops

Taking place on a monthly basis, Wellbeing Workshops are designed around a central topic, such as ‘Happiness’, ‘Mindfulness’, ‘Kindness’, plus more. By attending these workshops, you’ll receive up-to-date information about an area of wellbeing. You’ll be invited to take part in a creative activity, and a meditation exercise. This will ensure that you enjoy some quality ‘me time’, and become familiar with new techniques to help you relax.

Personal Growth Group

Open to anyone keen to go on a journey of self-discovery, the Personal Growth Group takes place each month. You can attend each month; or select particular classes to attend every now and then, based on your availability. During each session, you’ll be encouraged to set an intention, work to gain a greater understanding of yourself, and work through activities that will support your success. The Personal Growth Group also includes a ‘book group’ discussion of autobiographies and self-help books. By engaging, you’ll learn more about yourself, achieve more, and feel inspired.

Mindfulness Walks

Taking place on a seasonal basis, Mindfulness Walks encourage you to get out in nature and meet like-minded people. Inspired by guided meditations, these nature-filled walks aim to encourage you to ‘really’ see the environment around you, and mindfulness activities take place along the walking route to aid this process. The walks are gentle, circular, and take approximately 1 hour to complete. We end by visiting a café to enjoy a hot drink together.

Talks, Training, and Team Building

CounsellingKind is happy to deliver bespoke Talks, Training, and Team Building by request. Examples of content that such sessions can be designed around include:

  • Mental Health Awareness
  • The Benefits of Mindfulness
  • A Formula for Success (People + Processes = Outcomes)
  • Team Building and Building Trust
